Message from our Co-Founders

With deep gratitude and full hearts, we introduce you to Bahía Blues.

Bahía Blues isn’t just another brand. It’s a quiet rebellion. A love letter to slow living, conscious creation, and the hands and histories behind what we wear. Rooted in intention, our story is shaped by the artisans we work with, reducing environmental waste, and the belief that feeling confident can be both beautiful and responsible.

We exist to celebrate the creativity of underrepresented voices, and to make space for joy, rest, and depth in a world that too often rushes past all three. Thank you for being here, for choosing slowness, and for joining us as we build something that feels like home.

Mariana, Caroline, and Maria

Our Philosophy

We’re a minority women-owned business, built upon a belief that what we wear has the potential to care for our minds, bodies, and planet. Bahía Blues pieces are sustainably handmade to embody the beauty of local craftsmanship, and transcend you into your most relaxed self.

We transform recycled fabrics sourced from post-consumer plastic waste into beautiful and comfortable swimwear for all. Our commitment to promoting a circular economy informs the creation of our pieces, from ideation to production.

We’re proud to produce our swimwear in Colombia, a country rich in culture and natural beauty. By supporting local communities and preserving traditional crafts, we aim to contribute to the livelihoods of those who bring our vision to life.
